Terms of Business

By engaging with QB Partners in respect of our services, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions. The terms and conditions herein are intended to apply when a professional adviser or other professional party engages with our Suitability Report Service or requires time costed consultancy support on a business to business basis. Other services may require a seperate terms of business as documented below.

QB Partners Limited

QB Partners Limited (hereinafter referred to as QB Partners) is a Limited Company registered in the Isle of Man, Company Number 133438C. QB Partners provide fee based, independent technical support on financial planning matters, to financial advisers and product providers.

Advice Liability

QB Partners are not authorised to give advice directly to members of the public. Any information within our reports and other written communication is intended for professional advisers and product providers. In the event of any of the information we provide advisers or providers being incorrect, the recipient would have recourse to us and this is covered by our professional indemnity insurance.

Where local taxation information has been provided, this is based upon a generic understanding of the jurisdiction as a whole. Taxes may vary regionally due to local tax office interpretations, and tax rules may change on a regular basis. This is only a guide and it is highly recommended that professional advisers seek local specialist tax advice, which QB Partners can arrange through its Expert Panel.

Where QB Partners does introduce a chartered tax adviser, financial adviser, legal professional, will writer, actuary or other third party professional a seperate terms of business may be required with that professional, depending upon the terms of engagement.

Payment of Fees

In signing a Fact Find or Fee Estimate you agree to all of the fees quoted therein and will arrange prompt payment following receipt of an invoice.

Partnership Programme

QB Partners offer a service known as the Partnership Programme, which allows professional advisers and other parties to access various technical support services from QB Partners in return for a monthly fee. If you have engaged with the Partnership Programme a seperate terms of business will be entered into.

Consultancy Contracts

QB Partners offer consultancy support to product providers and other parties. If you have engaged QB Partners for consultancy support a seperate terms of business will be entered into.

Introducer Fees

QB Partners may be paid introducer fees or implementation fees by product providers and other third parties. Wherever possible these will be paid from the provider's core margin, thus not increasing the cost to the end client. In other cases, fees will be fully disclosed. Where QB Partners are paid introducer or implementation fees by a third party, a seperate terms of business will be entered into.

Introducers

QB Partners may be able to offer introducer fees to appropriate 3rd parties, in return for the introduction of fee generating work to QB Partners. If you are appointed as an Introducer a seperate terms of business will be entered into.

Due Diligence

Before entering into an agreement with you QB Partners may wish to conduct due diligence in respect of your organisation. If this is required in respect of the services you are engaging with us for, we will let you know. Similarly, QB Partners are happy to provide any required due diligence information to organisations who are engaging with us.

Privacy Policy

Any information disclosed to us in a suitability report or other request for technical support is treated as confidential and will not be divulged to any third party without express permission from the relevant party.

Proper Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in all respects in accordance with the laws of the Isle of Man.
