FCA reveals disparity in pension exit fees

Nearly 150,000 consumers will face pension exit charges of more than 5%, according to a report this week from the Financial Conduct Authority. Using data collected on the UK pension market since April, the regulator found 84% of consumers eligible to access their pension savings - or 3.4 million people - would not pay an exit charge.
