QB Partners appoint Paul Flude as South African tax and estate planning expert

QB Partners have appointed Paul Flude, who is an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa, to its Expert Panel, as a sign of its further commitment to providing independent technical support to financial advisers in South Africa and other advisers with South African national clients.

David White, Managing Director of QB Partners said:
"We are delighted that Paul has agreed to work with us as part of our Expert Panel. Paul is South African by birth and is based between the UK and South Africa. His work is very much focused on providing tax and relocation support to South Africans in the UK, South Africa and beyond. QB Partners' proposition has been very well received in South Africa in recent years and working with advisers in this part of the world will be an important part of our growth strategy going forwards. Paul has been well known to QB Partners' senior management for a number of years and working more formally together seemed a very natural fit. This latest appointment builds our Expert Panel through which we aim to provide cost effective and practical access to tax and legal expertise in the key jurisdictions in which we work."

As well as being an admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa, Paul is a Practising member, registered on the roll of Attorneys at the Legal Practice Council of South Africa. Paul specialises in Private Client matters, Relocation, Citizenship, and Strategic Projects, with a special focus on estate planning, wills, deceased estates and relocation solutions for global South African families, entrepreneurs and professionals.

Paul has amassed over 24 years of experience in the legal, trust, financial services, insurance, and immigration industries in South Africa, the Isle of Man, Guernsey, Switzerland and the UK. Paul relocated to the UK after a period in the Isle of Man, whilst still maintaining his legal practice in Cape Town and ties to his native South Africa. He has acted as a Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director, Trustee, Executor, Protector and Key Officer of many HNW family entities, private and charitable organisations in South Africa, the UK, the Isle of Man, and Switzerland.

Paul Flude added:
As a proud South African, I am honoured to be able to represent the country of my birth on QB Partners' esteemed Expert Panel. I look forward to assisting my fellow South Africans and their advisors, whether in South Africa or in the growing expat community, on tax, legal and related matters. It is also a privilege for me to advise those international clients who have business, property and other interests in South Africa. QB Partners have built a solid reputation in the marketplace and I am delighted to be able to assist them with the ongoing technical support of their members and clients, as well as with their expansion plans.
